I generally want to climb back into bed with a book on rainy days, especially in winter. For some reason I don't quite understand, this is how I feel about it today:
I'm looking forward to it, and am even prepped with a low-tech solution to keeping my iPod dry in the rain - ziploc sandwich baggie in the back pocket. I'm not completely crazy - the iPhone is staying home. I can do without the GPS / MapMyRun apps today.

you are inspirational finding time to run in all conditions and still have adequate time for family and work. i put running on hold when our twins were born two years ago. Good to see someone who toughs it out running in the cold--that crisp air makes me wheeze and i sound like a 3 pack a day smoker or something.
keep up the good work!
Two year old twins? And you can think in complete sentences?
I didn't start running until my youngest was well past two - can't imagine the chaos if she & her brother (1-1/2 years older) had been twins.
It's not a matter of time, it's all about sanity. My family has kicked me out of the house to go for run, much the way I send cranky children into the backyard to play.
Ok good there is hope for me yet--maybe I'll internalize less frustration and get the boot out for a run as well. Hopefully, they won't change the locks while I am gone though...
